This is me.

I love design that creates, shifts, or changes perceptions and dynamic media that allow it to live. Unsurprisingly, I really enjoy branding and digital design. I have a strong understanding of design principles but know that multiple paths can lead to the same point. As a design director, I'm not afraid to collaborate, get my hands dirty, or wear different hats. 

Being part of a capable team with different styles, backgrounds, approaches, etc. is inspiring because let's face it: working together leads to higher quality and greater agility in design than working in isolation. It's a privilege to lead such a team of designers at Mosaic. Nurturing talent, supporting fellow designers, and elevating design culture are things I'm very passionate about. 

I enjoy working directly with clients, not just for them. I admire creative professionals who have mastered their craft, understand that one never stops learning, and remain humble enough to realize that knowledge can come from anywhere. I strive to embody this philosophy daily.

10 Lessons from 10 Years in the Industry

Never stop learning. Stay humble always.

Side projects can inspire, reinvigorate, and expose you to new ways of thinking. Keep that side hustle game strong.

Order is necessary in design, but chaos is needed for brand evolution; the trick is in seizing the perfect moment to break out of the mold and breaking out by the right amount.

Exceed expectations. Offer two options when one is requested. Offer design when decoration is expected.

Design cannot rescue failed content/strategy.

A foosball table doth not a company culture make. Work perks are meaningless if you don't love what you do and who you do it with.

Hire for attitude. Skill can be learned.
