The design system for SXSW’s most anticipated activation was developed using bold cowboy fonts and organic graphics, inspired by the intersection of Texan culture and arid landscapes on the west side of the state.

More whimsical than rustic, the colourful branding created for Prime Texas was meant to be a common visual thread between nine unique Amazon Original show takeovers within the space including Daisy Jones & The Six, The Boys, Swarm, The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Power, Academy of Country Music Awards, I’m A Virgo, Harlem, and Carnival Row.

In addition to stepping into their favorite shows, attendees were able to grab a bite at the Prime Cantina, get styled at the Prime Denim Co  and get a semi-permanent tattoo at the Prime Tattoo Parlor.

RESULTS: Prime Video fans and festival-goers loved it. Over 9,000 people visited Prime Texas over 3 days and total media impressions exceeded 12.3 Billion.
